Shayne Bevilacqua, MBA

Principal & Owner

Mr. Bevilacqua is a licensed insurance agent in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia and completed the pre-requisites for entry to medical school. He obtained his MBA from Rowan University in New Jersey. He has more than 20 years experience in the Healthcare Industry. His career has taken him to the orthopedics department within a Pennsylvania hospital system. He also held the position of research scientist, focusing on a variety of medicines for everything from cardiovascular disease to cancer treatment. As a Training Manager, he helped train nearly 10,000 pharmaceutical sales representatives over the years in the U.S. on products spanning many therapeutic areas and helped launched two much-needed influenza vaccines in the U.S. and Puerto Rico during the U.S. flu vaccine shortage to help save many lives. Mr. Bevilacqua is a member of PLUS (The Professional Liability Underwriting Society). He is also a major supporter of, and Executive Board Member of, two local non-profit organizations, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties, and the Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA. Mr. Bevilacqua is originally from Philadelphia, and currently lives in New Jersey.  He is an avid runner, a Spartan racer, and enjoys spending free-time and traveling with his two children who keep him active competing in AAU and Collegiate sports across the country.

Administrative Assistant Extraordinaire!

Since joining the company in 2006, Maria has been a vital member of the team at PLIG. Besides having proudly raised two children she has a wealth of experience in management that has included responsibility for staffing, hiring, and payroll. She also has extensive experience in the Financial/Banking industry with roles including mortgage processing, investigating escrow issues, and overseeing money ordering from the Federal Reserve. It’s no wonder she’s proficient at balancing multiple projects and maintaining the daily operations of the business, including our client database management system. She has taken on responsibility for creating and maintaining our electronic filing system in order to go paperless – helping us in our continued pursuit to ‘Go Green’. Maria’s customer service is the best in the industry as she has consistently been called a ‘favorite’ among our clients.
